New Jersey-based Wallington Plumbing & Heating Supplies is one of the plumbing and heating supplies companies in the country. As a major name in the HVAC, plumbing, and heating industry, Wallington needed an enhanced web presence.
They asked us to build a conversion-focused, bilateral eCommerce website that would integrate with their legacy ERP, Epicor, and serve both B2B (contractors and builders) and B2C customers.
Our solution was to build a UX-driven website that made it easier for customers to place their orders and for Wallington to provide excellent customer service. Wallington Plumbing & Heating Supply is now ready for another 30 years of growth.
To promote B2B and B2C sales, we developed a unique user experience that helped both customer groups feel at home and navigate the Wallington site according to their needs. For example, the Quick Order pad makes reordering a convenient one-click process, whether it’s 1 product or 10,000.
The most intensive integrations on the new Wallington website were the Epicor Eclipse ERP (an industry standard) and Vantiv payment processing system.
Eclipse helps Wallington manage their inventory while simultaneously enabling users to better find the products they want.
For Wallington, the focus was on designing a site that blended perfectly with the Eclipse ERP and Epicor payment processing system.
Once the design was perfect for their customers and their internal needs, we helped them launch their B2B & B2C-enabled site in early 2018.
Since then, we’ve seen a huge increase in sales as well as accolades from existing customers. This new website has benefited them in shaping up to launch their new and improved B2C business using the same technology and platform that we built for them. Wallington is future ready.
